What is KarmaCodes?
KarmaCodes.com is a project directed by Planet Berna and conceived as a network for professionals where web designers and programmers can publish links to tutorials / articles, share data, network, create more traffic for their website and vote on their favorite content.
How It Works
You decide what content is submitted and made popular. The community relies on it’s members to provide relevant content as well as rate, by giving Karma (see The Karma Factor) to each scoop so that the best and most relevant entries will make their way to the top.
Submit Content
Once you register, you will have the capability to submit your favorite "scoops".
The Karma Factor
You can give Karma by voting on other user’s content or receive it by submitting content or commenting.
The content with the highest Karma appears in the right sidebar under "Best Scoops".
Upcoming
When a user submits an entry (scoop), it appears at the "Upcoming" tab for a maximum period of time of 7days. After this period, the entry goes to "Popular Scoops" or "Archived".
Popular Scoops
If a submitted scoop gets at least three votes while being in the "Upcoming" queue, the scoop will be automatically moved to "Popular Scoops" tab.
Archived
If a submitted scoop doesn’t get at least three votes while being in the "Upcoming" queue, the scoop will be automatically moved to "Archived" tab.
Comunication
Once you are logged in, you’ll be able to leave comments in any scoops and certain admin created pages (i.e.: this one) and share your ideas, opinion or whatever is in your mind.
