KarmaCodes Bookmarklet

Bookmarklets are links you add to your browser’s Bookmarks Toolbar. In this case, it gives you a button to easily submit webpages to KarmaCodes.com.

Installation

CHROME - Make sure the “Bookmarks Bar"? is visible. If it is not, go to the configuration menu by clicking the wrench icon in the upper right and then check "˜Always show bookmarks bar’. (Hint: Ctrl+B toggles the bookmarks bar on and off).
FIREFOX - Right-click (on a Mac, ctrl-click) and "Bookmark This Link" or simply drag and drop the link above into your Firefox Bookmarks Bar.
IE - Currently not supported!? :-P

Usage

Clicking your KarmaCodes Bookmarklet from your browser when visiting a webpage, will open a KarmaCodes "submit scoop" page in a new window; if any text is selected on the webpage to be submitted, KarmaCodes will pick up & enter the selection automatically in the Description field. The page’s URL and Title are also automatically entered in their respective fields. If the item has already been submitted to KarmaCodes.com, this will re-direct instead to the node on your site for the already-submitted item.
This Bookmarklet only works if you are already logged in to KarmaCodes.com. If you are not already logged in, you’ll receive an “Access denied"? error, and will need to log in at that point.
